Beth Jones

Beth Jones leads FTI Consulting’s Risk & Investigations team in Dallas. She specializes in complex, multi-disciplinary cross-border matters involving fraud and corruption risk management, investigations and compliance program operations. Beth also serves on FTI Consulting’s Global ESG and Sustainability Steering Committee where she advises the firm on developing services and solutions to respond to evolving client needs.

Beth is a forensic accountant who has advised her clients for 20 years on how to respond to allegations of fraud and misconduct. She conducts investigations and remediates internal control gaps that allow misconduct to occur and go undetected. She also advises clients on operationalizing fraud risk management and compliance programs, specifically the design and implementation of risk assessment methodologies, maintaining accurate books and records and processes for compliance monitoring and continuous program involvement.

Beth has expertise in matters arising from alleged corporate accounting fraud and financial reporting irregularities, violations of anti-corruption, export control and sanctions laws, white collar crime, and ESG greenwashing. She often oversees execution of work streams in multiple jurisdictions simultaneously and works closely with FTI Consulting’s other practices to bring optimal solutions to address each client’s particular needs.

Beth has lived global expertise. While much of her work has been conducted domestically, she also has worked for foreign companies dealing with U.S. legal issues, including companies domiciled in China, India, Japan and Singapore. She has worked on matters in more than 35 countries and recently completed an assignment in Hong Kong, where she led FTI Consulting’s Asia Risk & Investigations practice.

Beth was an independent auditor for 10 years at public accounting firms and a partner in a Big 4 accounting firm’s forensic practice for more than three years, where she gained expertise advising on shadow investigations for the firm’s audit clients. In 2021, Beth was exclusively awarded the Lexology “Client Choice Award” for Investigations.
