Dr. Dimitris Korres

Dr. Dimitris Korres has over eight years of experience in the development and deployment of machine learning solutions as well as advanced system automation and data warehousing.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Dimitris served as a Director of Machine Learning and Engineering at the global Omnicom media agency Hearts & Science and the French multinational consulting corporation Capgemini. He was responsible for leading teams and projects in multiple industries (Financial Services, Media, E-commerce).

Architectural solutions and machine learning approaches developed by Dimitris have successfully deployed in business cases ranging from recommendation engines, customer value, debt recovery, geospatial analytics, media budget optimisation and media data warehousing.

In parallel, Dimitris has maintained links in academia collaborating on projects at the London School of Economics and the Harvard Institute of Global Health. These projects have involved collecting large volumes of data from various sources and natural language processing to examine health system performance.

Dimitris holds a B.Sc. in Physics, a M.Sc. in Environmental Design & Engineering, a M.Sc and Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics.
