Fiona Freeman

Fiona Freeman is a real estate finance expert with more than 30 years of experience across the real estate sector including as a debt intermediary and expert witness and in restructuring, contingency planning and insolvency. As a banker, Fiona specialised in real estate and project finance.

Fiona’s recent real estate experience includes debt advisory work for a FTSE-listed company, an independent business and liquidity review for a large prime London development on behalf of the senior lenders, advising the Revolving Credit Facility Lenders of Intu Properties plc, several independent business reviews (“IBR”) for UK shopping centres and an IBR and consensual restructuring of a London-based housebuilder.

Fiona has given oral evidence as a real estate finance expert in the High Court. She has also undertaken IBR and restructuring advisory work in the construction, private finance initiative (“PFI”) and project finance sectors.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Fiona worked at Barclays Bank where she focused on structured real estate finance and project finance, including PFI, Public Private Partnerships (“PPP”) and renewable energy.

Fiona holds a B.A. in Economics with Honours from Newcastle University. She is a member of the Investment Property Forum and sits on the Finance and Residential Committees of the British Property Federation.
