Keith McGregor

Keith McGregor specializes in restructuring advisory and has more than 25 years of experience working as banker and Chief Restructuring Officer across multiple sectors and client types. Mr. McGregor has industry expertise in the energy, consumer products and media industries, among other areas.

Mr. McGregor assists organizations and their stakeholders in developing and implementing strategic alternatives, including planning, navigating and exiting Chapter 11 filings and insolvency proceedings. His experience encompasses the full range of restructuring, including initial stabilization, strategic options analysis, operational improvement and refinancing.

Mr. McGregor has deep experience in advising companies, bondholders, lenders, investors and private equity and debt funds and also has worked with various governmental stakeholders in high-profile cases in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Since the global financial crisis of 2007-2008, Mr. McGregor has led restructurings with a combined capitalization of over $100 billion. As a result of Mr. McGregor’s breadth of experience and wide range of background, he has been frequently sought as an expert in broadcast, print and online business media, as well as a regular speaker at restructuring and industry events.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. McGregor was a Partner/Principal at Ernst & Young in New York, and prior to that was Ernst & Young’s Capital Transformation Leader for EMEIA, leading the Restructuring, Lead Advisory/M&A, Operational Transaction Services and Valuations practices across the region.
