About Lucy
Lucy Phillips has 20 years’ corporate communications experience in public and private companies ranging from start-ups to the Fortune 10. She leads FTI’s Employee Engagement & Change Communications (EECC) practice in London and is Prosci® certified in Change Management.
Since joining FTI Consulting, her experience has spanned cross-border issues management; strategy development and roll-out; crisis, and M&A. Specifically, she served on multiple London teams supporting the Microsoft /Nokia transaction, leading the communications integration work-stream for the Nokia business transferring into Microsoft. Ms. Phillips has also led multiple internal restructuring initiatives for FTSE-listed companies spanning multiple geographies, as well as a two-year strategy roll-out campaign for a global pharmaceutical company.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, she spent over 8 years with GE Healthcare, holding a variety of communications leadership roles. Her responsibilities spanned employee engagement; media relations; and crisis. She led the internal communications for 6 GE Corporate Officers-- including the functional leaders for HR, IT, Marketing and the two previous CEOs of GE Healthcare.
Prior to GE, she led North American Media and Investor Relations for FTSE-listed Amersham, plc., which was acquired by GE in 2004.
Her start-up experience includes leading investor and media relations for Mainspring, a US-based digital-strategy consulting firm where she oversaw all communications activities from the Company’s mezzanine-round financing to IPO and eventual acquisition by IBM. She began her career with Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Feinstein Kean Healthcare, providing investor and media relations counsel within the life sciences sector.
