About Mark
Mark McCall is the Global Segment Leader of FTI Consulting’s Strategic Communications segment and is based in New York.
Throughout his career, Mr. McCall has provided strategic counsel on complex communications challenges to numerous private and public companies including The Coca-Cola Company, PanAmSat, Alliance Data Systems, MasterCard, Harmony Gold, William Blair, NCR, Allstate and Genworth Financial. He specializes in developing and executing communications strategies for clients pursuing an initial public offering, merger, acquisition, restructuring or other type of transaction, as well as those seeking to manage their corporate reputation in relation to a specific issue or crisis event.
Before becoming Americas Head of Strategic Communications, Mr. McCall served as President and Chief Operating Officer. He was also head of the company’s Special Situations Practice, overseeing the firm’s growth in M&A, restructuring and IPO related work. He continues to provide counsel to the firm’s high-profile clients.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. McCall was VP of Operations/Finance for a privately held company where he negotiated and managed acquisitions and oversaw the company’s capital raising activities. His previous financial and investor relations experience includes work in the Chicago offices of Burson-Marsteller and Hill and Knowlton.
Mr. McCall received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business.
