Nicola Cobb is a Senior Managing Director in the Forensic and Litigation practice, based in London. She has more than 20 years’ experience in forensic accounting, investigation matters and responding to high profile corporate crises. These cases have varied in size and complexity, and in many cases have been multi-jurisdictional. She has led investigations into financial misstatement, fraud and misconduct, data loss and intellectual property theft, corruption and human trafficking.
Nicola works closely with in-house legal counsel, chief risk and compliance officers and boards on a variety of business integrity and Environmental, Social and Governance (‘ESG’) matters, drawing on her experience of working on several high-profile criminal and/or regulatory matters.
Nicola has a particular focus on business integrity and helps clients to manage regulatory and reputational risk arising in their business and their extended operations and supply chains, including human trafficking, the use of conflict minerals and bribery and corruption. Nicola has worked on high profile cases in relation to the UK Modern Slavery Act, advising clients on how to prevent, detect and respond to issues. Nicola leads our business intelligence offering in the UK, supporting clients with complex cross-border investigations, asset tracing, due diligence and strategic intelligence.
Nicola’s international experience includes carrying out investigations in Continental Europe; Asia; Africa; the UK and the US.
Prior to FTI Consulting, Nicola was a Director in the Forensic Investigations and Compliance practice at a leading global audit firm in the UK.
