Paul S. Ficca

Paul S. Ficca is the Global Segment Leader of FTI Consulting’s Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment. Prior to 2018, he was the leader of the Global Construction, Environmental and Government Contracts practice within the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment.

Mr. Ficca has 34 years of experience in litigation support, forensic accounting, cost investigations and analysis, damages calculations, and risk-based advisory services. He has served as an expert witness on litigation and commercial dispute matters related to damages assessments, including international arbitrations and other court venues.

Mr. Ficca has provided forensic accounting, valuation, financial and accounting advisory services, and damages assessments for both public and private clients. Mr. Ficca has experience with complex, data intensive analysis projects. He has worked on projects involving extensive computer extraction and modeling work to quantify potential damages in disputes involving multiple parties. He has analyzed lost profits, discounted cash flow, direct damages, consequential damages and interest calculations on a variety of claims and litigation matters.

Mr. Ficca’s experience includes engagements related to insurance claims, healthcare, mergers and acquisitions, business plan analysis, electric and gas utilities, the oil and gas industry, environmental matters, real estate and construction. On construction matters, Mr. Ficca has worked on many types of projects such as prisons, roads, bridges, highways, tunnels, mass transit projects, power plants, commercial mixed use projects, and heavy industrial projects.

Mr. Ficca has a B.A. in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Washington. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Institute of Management Accountants.
